Our work with the Kunsthaus began with a simple idea that grew into a long quiet day of shooting everyday items as if they were rare works. The room was set with soft light and clear space so the objects could stand on their own without noise or rush. We spent hours placing small things toothpaste hair gel and other daily tools into clean fields of shadow and shine. As the day went on the scenes shifted and the objects gained a strange presence almost as if they had their own weight. The room turned calm and the images formed a slow world.

Object Light

The main thought was to let the objects speak by holding them still and close until their small details became the story. We worked with tight angles gentle reflections and small changes that opened new layers of mood. A soft curve of plastic a tiny mark on a cap a faint line of shine suddenly felt important. Each frame grew from these quiet notes and the objects started to feel like small sculptures placed in simple space. The final images carry this clear mood calm direct and slightly unreal a set of scenes built in one long day where common things turned into art.
