Kunsthaus

For a catalogue concept for the Kunsthaus the aim was to craft a visual world that reads like fine art at first glance yet is built entirely from everyday objects such as toothpaste hair gel and small banal items, and the work focused on shaping a quiet twist in which common things are staged with the weight tone and calm presence of museum pieces, so the scenes were formed as clean still life fields where each object sat like a sculptural fragment lit with the same care usually given to rare works, and the process drew from soft greys clear whites and subtle shadows that push the ordinary into a strange elevated space, and from there a cohesive visual line grew apart.
